Listen to and Honor your body. What does that mean to you?
Once you lay on your mat this practice is about you and what is in your heart. Become Christ-centered, relax, and your body, mind and soul will be restored.
- Christian yoga practice is not a competition. Our bodies are at different stages of physical strength and flexibility. Listen to your body’s limitations today and be aware of the following:
- Postures – take time and consistent practice. Enjoy the moment.
- Patience – go slowly and be aware of every breath you take in every pose
- No Pain – you should never feel pain. If you feel pain, stop the posture. Your body may not be ready to try that pose today
- Practice - practice today will develop strength, skill and flexibility for tomorrow
- Rest -lay on your mat in resting pose or take child’s pose as needed throughout class
Remember, this is Yoga Practice not Yoga Perfect!
